ADR Law

ADR Certificate is a document, which is necessary for cargo transportation, which in accordance with the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) are considered as dangerous cargos.

The procedure for transportation of dangerous cargos in Latvia is stipulated by the Cabinet Regulations No.674 from September 6, 2005 “Terms on Dangerous Cargo Transportation”.
Division of dangerous cargos in classes:

Class 1 – Explosive substances and products
Class 2 – Pressurized, liquefied gases and gases dissolved under pressure
Class 3 – Flammable liquids
Class 4.1 – Flammable solids
Class 4.2 – Self-combustible materials
Class 4.3 – Materials that release dangerous gases when come into contact with water
Class 5.1 – Oxidizers
Class 5.2 – Organic peroxides
Class 6.1 – Poisonous materials
Class 6.2 – Etiologic (infectious) materials
Class 7 – Radioactive materials
Class 8 – Corrosives
Class 9 – Miscellaneous dangerous substances and articles

Pallet dimensions

Pallet is an aid for cargo transportation – fastening of a particular size, made of hard material, on which there is placed a cargo to be transported. The use of pallets allows transport the cargo easier, faster and in larger quantities, if its number is high and packaging small.
